The captain had the most skilled whale hunting crew in town when he was alive. They planned to kill the largest whale they had ever seen one fateful day.

When they attacked that cursed creature, the whale flapped its tail, smashing a huge hole in the hull. The cursed creature pulled the ship into the water and dragged the captain and his crew with it.

Their ship returned to the surface to keep sailing, damned to roam the seas in eternal servitude to the Old One. Thousands of souls were delivered to the depths because of the captain and his pirate whale hunters.
